"My dad is 76 years old and bought his first Harley a year ago. He rides every Saturday, weather permitting, with a "gang" of friends. The remainder of his time is spent taking care of my mom who has Alzheimer's. She was diagnosed about 6 years ago. He refuses to put her in a home. Although he never cleaned or cooked a day in his life prior to my mom becoming ill, he takes care of everything now. He manages to do all of this with my mom as a shadow. He is the best man I know and I couldn't have asked for a better dad. We have enjoyed the Royal's together since I was a little girl. It would mean a lot to me if he was the "Baseball Dad of the Week". He definitely deserves it." Sheryl R. |
